I have had several cancer treatments over the last five years, had a bereavement and have been off work with the psychological effects of the above.
I have a high stress management role which demands 100% focus emotional intelligence and being accessible to support staff and clients to make life changing decisions.
I have been off following endometrial cancer surgery and basically just cannot see a point that I will get back to being efficient enough to get back to my role.
Do you have any advice on what will support my response to Occ Health as I cannot predict if the treatments will be successful so therefore cannot say if they will be permanent.

I'd recommend speaking to Macmillan as a starting point

Also ACAS, they can advise you of your rights and the proper process that your employer has to follow.

Hi @SueP62, welcome to the community. It sounds like you've been going through a lot. As Kimi87 mentioned above, Macmillan are often brilliant with this kind of thing. Have you ever chatted to them before? Hopefully they can point you in the right direction.

It's a tough decision but I hope you can find the best way forward soon.
