What Is Your Perfect Sandwich? 🥪✨

I had a delicious moment during my lunch break that made me think I've found my perfect sandwich.

It was tiger bread with Branston pickle, cucumber, lots of crunchy fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion and quorn veggie ham slices cut into 2 triangles. The shape does make it taste better!

So now I'm curious…what's your perfect sandwich?

Are you a fan of the classic BLT or a hearty Ploughman's (this also another very strong contender for a perfect sandwich in book!) Or do you have a unique creation that you swear by? 🥪✨

    That sounds delicious @Mary_Scope. Bearing in mind I haven't had this for years as gluten free bread is Not Good 😭, my ideal gluten-filled sandwich would be quite simple: Warm, crusty French baguette sliced in half, salted butter, mature cheese and Branston pickle. Makes my mouth water just thinking of it!

    Another I just thought about that I love: Roasted veggies and hummus with some crunchy lettuce and something pickled like red cabbage. On a nice bread like a ciabatta or a crusty roll. Love anything pickled ☺️

    I have just had chilli & garlic tuna with cottage cheese and tomato on a wholegrain barm and it was delish = deffo a fave from now on.

    I haven't had real dairy cheese for years @Amberpearl but I used to love halloumi, do you like that?

    Roasted vegetables are always a winner in my book @Rosie_Scope!!

    Had a very self indulgent sandwich yesterday....thin, flash fried steak with lots of onions on soft white bread, real salty butter. Probably put my collesterol through the roof but gosh, it made me happy! 💖

    I agree with all the halloumi lovers, fried halloumi is the best, especially with garlic humous. mmmm.
