Unfortunately there are extremely long waits for reassessments at the moment. Yes they are still happening.
You've done the paperwork, you are now waiting to hear what type of assessment you will have.
You can enquire about the status of your case directly with the health assessment agency.
You can also use their formal complaint procedure to make a complaint about the waiting time.

thank you for replying , I feel like I should complain as it’s been over a year, & I get its a long process with back logs etc . But even when I’ve spoke to my work coach and she said it’s all stopped etc . I don’t know how to check but I’ll look at the link you have provided thank you . When I first applied for it and went for a interview at that time 🕰️ wasn’t receiving pip , but it wasn’t long after I was ,

Hi @Virgo_
As Kimi said there is massive backlog at the moment but considering you've waited so long it may be worth raising a formal complaint, Hopefully this will speed things up also. Fingers crossed you won't have to wait too much longer!!0 -

After you click on the link, scroll down until you find the area you live in.
You will then see in bold writing the name of your area.
The name of the company dealing with your assessment is underneath.
Click on the blue “contact COMPANY NAME"
This takes you to their website, where you will find their contact details & complaint procedure.
If you need further assistance, clicking on the below purple text will locate a local welfare rights organisation who can help you.

Citizens Advice may also be able to help you complain as well. Also there is advocacy services such as POhWER and VoiceAbility who should be able to help support you make your complaint @Virgo_

job centre told me the same and that they are just keeping me on LWC but I pushed for a reassessment in Aug 25 and then in January 26 put a complaint in and then magically had an assessment yesterday, very quick call said I had reached max points already so there’s no need to carry on.
but job centre can push one through0 -
yes that’s pretty much what they said to me , but they sent me. Booklet to fill out in 2024 said I needed to send it back by a certain date etc , asked loads of questions , I sent it back for 5th Dec 2024 and heard nothing since . What do u mean reached maxed points I don’t get it ? Did u end up getting LWCRA the amount where u bet extra payments ? And how did u complain did u do it via ur journal ? It’s ridiculous that im waiting well over a year , when they actually asked me
To have it back within a time
Frame, for them to just put it to the back of the queue, imagine we done that and didn’t reply ,’soon get onto us

I actually complained , I haven’t heard back yet , but I made a note on my journal to ask for a update and said I’m gonna put a complaint in , and they messaged back with the correct email address and said let them know how it’s effected you etc , so I done all this a couple of days ago , and now just waiting to see what happenes , it was nov 2024 I made a change to my health , so it’s definitely a long time to keep waiting .
