Hi. I've seen a used red GP500 Green power mobility scooter for sale and it is said to reach 25mph from 4, 8, and 15mph.
Would anyone 'in the know' be able to say whether the standard 48v lead acid battery of this scooter is sufficient for this speed?

25 mph, your talking of a petrol scooter at that rate. Surely that would be illegal?

Sounds illegal to me, what with 8mph being the maximum permitted speed in the UK, for a class 3 scooter.
Assuming this scooter was used on private land, with the landowners permission, I would be concerned as to how the brake would cope.
