PIP tribunal
I have a pip tribunal on Thursday, I struggle with how I feel and how to put into words my needs, I have borderline personality disorder and combined adhd and awaiting assessment for autism, my auntie does everything for me and she filled in the pip form a d we got 0 points and she spoke on my behalf on the mandatory reconsideration phone call which we also received 0 points, will she be able to speak on my behalf at the tribunal? I struggle a lot and need prompts for everything and help and I’m really scared and stressed as I can’t put what’s in my mind into words

Good morning and welcome to the community.
You say that your Aunt filled out your form and you got 0 points, then she spoke on your behalf over the telephone for your mandatory reconsideration.
Its always best not to do an over the telephone mandatory reconsideration request so you can keep a copy of a written submission as proof of what you actually wrote and why you disputed their decision to award you 0 points.
The person your Aunt spoke to was most likely a call handler and therefor they are just there to take notes, and things sometimes get missed out or misunderstood.
Your Aunt obviously has your best interest at heart but you need to consider if she was the right person to handle your claim.
You say your tribunal is due to be heard on Thursday so have you sought any free professional advise regarding how to proceed?
I can't be 100% sure but I don't think your Aunt will be able to speak on your behalf and you need to really consider whether she is an appropriate knowledgeable enough person to do so.
I realise that you would most likely find it a very daunting prospect but you are better off speaking for yourself if you possibly can because that way the tribunal panel will be able to see for themselves the difficulties you experience and make their decision based on that.
Good luck.

I would try to get professional help this time.

yes my auntie worked for a place that deals with these sorts of things so is very knowledgeable she put things in that I have told her I struggle with and everything she helps me with, she got doctors letters and things from my social worker, she gathered a lot of evidence and has them in a folder, all my medical notes all the notes from previous mental health help, yeah nothing that she said was put into the mandatory reconsideration notes and they seem to of just made stuff up, they said that because I can put a rustlers burger in a microwave after not eating for days on end and being told to that it’s me making a substantial meal and that I can go out alone which I can’t, just a lot of things that weren’t said, I can’t use public transport, I can’t leave the house alone, I can’t use the kitchen as my impulses for self harm and distraction is too big and have causes fires and used the knives on myself, she prompts me to shower, she takes care of my finances as I have landed myself in a lot of debt, I had malnutrition and was severely underweight on the verge of causing permanent damage because I will just lay in bed and not eat for days on end, I ended up with severe kidney infection as I wouldn’t use the bathroom for over 18 hours but none of that was written as was said, they ended up twisting everything even self harm and suicide attempts saying it’s been years when it was a month before the first appeal, I’m just hoping that the tribunal hear this and award me as I’m really struggling

she worked for a place that dealt with these things, gathered every single piece of evidence, if i have to speak is she allowed to help me put into the words that i mean? The dwp has twisted and made things up that were never said I don’t understand how they can get away with it

Personally if I were in that situation I would seek free professional advice about what went against you, for you to be given 0 points and for your mandatory reconsideration to have agreed with that decision.
You will need to ask the tribunal service whether or not your Aunt can speak on your behalf and whether you really feel that the panel will agree with her representation evidence given the facts that you got 0 points after she completed your application form and also her telephone call regarding mandatory reconsideration whereas you might have been more successful putting it in writing and having kept a copy as evidence of what you actually stated.
You need to focus on why you felt you should have scored points required to have met the criteria for an award to be made to you,and not whether you feel things were "twisted and made up" by the dwp
