PIP assessment report

in PIP, DLA, ADP & AA

hi I got my pip assessment report 10 points for daily living however they’ve recommended a review in 1 year which I get as I had open heart surgery last year and hopefully will get back to full health but not looking likely has nerves are knackered anyway


if awarded would I get a review straight away?

    Hi,

    The DM may not go with the assessors recommendation. But yes if you do only get a 1 year award, it will only be a few months before you are sent review forms. They are currently being sent out around 8 months before the end due to backlogs.

    so just say if they give me a two

    Year award they would send it out 8 months prior to that?

    Yes. But that time is based on current backlogs so they might change the number of months in future.

    I got my report stating 10 points for daily living been waiting 4 weeks now still haven’t heard anything


    I do speak to a case manager and they said a decision was going to be made last week but phoned yesrdyday and nothing yet surely must be soon
