I agree with this. My brother and his family live in London and I can’t visit him for free travel because I live in Essex. My bus pass only covers me for buses in outer London.iI think the mayor should do something about this.

    Hi welcome to the community.

Public transport here in Cornwall isn't very good.

Bus travel takes such a long time because they have to go in and around all the little villages and they don't seem to put enough buses on to cover increased demand during the holiday season.

The train service here is even worse because it can take hours to get from A to B.

Do you think the London Mayor is interested in doing anything to help people in your situation?

It's excellent transport in London, I used to live that way. I think you get enough help from the government to be fair, go further north and rural and I would be happy to join your campaign.

I would like to visit my family in London.my brother has a freedom pass that cost him nothing to use on trains and buses to visit me. But I have to pay to visit him and family.I don’t think that’s fair because I live outside London. You have to live in London for a freedom pass.

But London is a law unto itself, nowhere else has anything close. Your council scheme will never compare.

I can't see the issue here?

What type of bus pass do you have?

I have a Disabled Persons bus pass, this is valid nationally including London, it doesn't scan on the TFL system so I show it to the driver.
