I was told by South Staffs Council that I could be entitled to severe disability payment as I am on attendance allowance and my husband is on disability I have sent the letter off but does anyone know how long it takes to go through

It can take a few weeks for everything to go through if you're eligible. It's not easy to predict exactly how long unfortunately as it can vary from case to case, but you could try ringing them for an update if you haven't heard anything for a while. How long ago did you submit your forms?
