Hello there
I have a 17 year old son who is a FT student in non advanced education. He currently works approx. 18 hours per week.
During the summer holidays he is keen to work more and this will be more than 24 hours per week.
Will my UC and Child Benefit be affected? TIA

Hi,
Because he is under 19 and still in approved full time education he is still classed as a dependant. So he can work those hours without affecting your uc. Also it will not affect your child benefit. The only time it will if he leaves full time education.Hope this helps.
