Life assurance policy for my son
Good evening Scope community,
I would like to take out a life assurance policy for my profoundly disabled son? Does anyone have any experience of this or can recommend a provider. Thank you

Hi @SKA and a warm welcome to the community from me!
I'm afraid I don't have any recommendations that I have used personally but I did find this website that compares life insurance for disabled people that may be helpful😊0 -
It pains me to say this but most life insurance companies wouldn't touch a disabled person with underlying health conditions with a surgically enhanced Bargepole.
Chiefly because they might not live long enough to pay the premiums, sounds morbid yeah but I used to get a LOT of cold calls about this kind of thing back when I had a landline, and as soon as I told them about my problems they didn't wanna know.
