Universal Credit Review
Hello everyone,
I was migrated over to Universal Credit last October and have received payments. However, today I received a message from UC that I will be having a Enhanced Universal Credit Claim telephone call on Tueaday. I must send a copy of passport for ID and utility bill to discuss the evidence which I have provided. I don't have my passport, can I send my driving licence in? The call will last for 30 mins, I'm a bit fearful of what I'll be asked and the appointment. Have anyone else experienced this assessment and should I worry?
Thank you

Hi @Dray. Did the specify passport? The driving licence is covered within their list of acceptable ID (list here - List of acceptable ID documents - GOV.UK) but if you'd feel better, you could give them a call.

Hi Hollly,
Thank you for your message. They said a form of ID, e g. passport.

I'm quite worried. I'm not sure what to expect in an Enhanced UC Claim Assessment. They just said to discuss the evidence which I provided and it will last for 30 min

If they said a form of ID, your driving licence should be fine. 😊
I'm sure it'll be ok. Just make sure you share all the information they've requested and I'm sure it'll be over and done before you know it.
