Change in rent for social housing.

My rent increased, and my universal credit hasn't changed. I reported the change on the day it went up. They have recognised this, and it is in my journal. But, although my rent has increased they are not giving me any more money. Apparently my transitional payment has decreased in order to correct this. But I'm still having the same amount of money to live on. Is there anything I can do about this?

TP erodes pound for pound as your rent rises, benefit award increases etc. This happens to everyone.

This seems expected, "any" increase in underlying entitlement wont increase unless TP is eroded.
