if I move in with a new partner who works full time and receives 2000 a month wages will I loose my benefits

Hi @andreww1234, welcome to the community. I can see Kimi87 has kindly linked you to some advice in a similar thread but I'll just add some here too in case it's useful to you.

It's worth trying out a benefits calculator to get an idea of what you might be entitled to as a couple. If you find you'd still be eligible for benefits, your partner will need to make a claim for universal credit too. You can then link your accounts together as a joint claim.

Your income will be assessed together as a household and adjusted to take into account both you and your partner's wages and circumstances. It can depend on your circumstances, but your payments may reduce by a significant amount due to your partner's wage.

If you and your partner have any savings, anything above £6,000 would reduce your payments further and anything above £16,000 will mean that your claim would be closed.
