Sexual abuse-Police officer, police complaints took my crime reference number

I reported sexual assault by a police officer and was given an official crime reference number. SUBMITTED evidence with witnesses, Other Police force supported my concerns and documented it/sent it to my local police force

2. They promised my case would go to the specialist RASSO team Infront of ISA worker but never did.

3. Instead, the police complaints team removed my crime reference and said they believed it as an internal complaint.

4. Their actions caused me deep distress, fear and loss of trust in the people meant to protect me.

I feel distressed, lost by this
And I'll never trust the police again

    Hi @Girluk55

I’m so sorry that this happened to you, and that your case wasn’t sent to the RASSO. It’s completely understandable that you feel no trust after being put through so much. Have you since spoken to the original force who supported you and aside from this, are you receiving any support for everything you’ve been through? I’m going to pop you an email imminently with some additional information. Please keep an eye out for it.

Unfortunately I've experienced it more than once that the local Plod are worse than useless.

But it's not always their fault, there's just so many rules and regulations/red tape they have to follow.

I got an update, spoke to police, basically the complaints team police manager lied, it's still open case, I've put a complaint in, not sure why the complaints manager for police would lie about this, apparently it's been passed to his manager but I've heard that before, ONE YEAR AGO
