Heatwave returns
Here we go the heatwave has returned. It's 20c here at the moment. Our top today will be 27C. I can feel it warming up already. Friday will be our worst when we hit 30C. The rail companies have advised only travel if Necessary as temps could reach 35c in some parts of the country and some services will be cancelled while others run at reduced speed. I think I'll be staying indoors today other than maybe water my plants outside while it's shady. Take it easy folks and stay safe.

I'm making the most of the good weather.
Its not been a heat wave here but lovely and sunny.
We get a lot of rain and cold wind here during autumn/ winter.

Going to reach 30 degrees and stay there for the next few days here! I've got my hot water bottle in the freezer ready to go๐ Staying indoors sounds like a good plan @Johnboy412000, I'll be doing the same mostly I think!

Fans are running. And I'm not meaning the England Fans though I hope they will be running and cheering and jumping for joy on Saturday night when we make a bid to over turn the Vikings. Promises to be a good match.

I have 13 windows open in the flat alongside a fan on the go, but I feel like I an in a Scandinavian Saunaโฆ.. I worked as a Gardener & Estate Ranger between 2001 & 2012, I look back and do not know how I coped in weather like this. I am keeping my water intake up as best as I can with a large bottle at my side.I would much rather have the heat in Olu Deniz where there is a breeze as you are next to the sea.
or give me this form of relief
my old office at Alex Park in my home town

I'm the same @Rag_793, I can't believe I used to not just cope but actively enjoy the heat! It's 32 here and meant to be even hotter tomorrow. I went out in the garden barefoot earlier thinking I'd enjoy the feeling of grass on my feet and burnt the soles on my patio ๐

when we burn our feet on the patio, we can then understand how sensitive dogs paws are

It zaps yer energy eh lol. Still it will be good next week when my Nieces Hubby will be painting my flat. The heat will help the paint dry quicker.

23C, a very pleasant afternoon here.

That's so true yet there's always people out walking their dogs in the middle of the day, it just feels cruel.

A full 10C higher here at a hot and stuffy 33c!

We'll get those temperatures eventually, by mid century, when you lot are getting 45C! I won't personally, but you know what I mean. ๐

But how high is the humidity? It is higher here, according to BBC weather site.

It's soooooo humid and stuffy here, getting a bit fed up with the sun nowโฆ Hope you're all keeping as cool as possible. I've had my first cool shower and expect I'll be having at least another 2 throughout the day.

In some cases they are maybe fitting their dog around their schedule. I see plenty people who i don't think should keep dogs.
Gus is stretched out by an open window, he will get 6 miles after 22:00; I fully appreciate not everyone can do that, what with work commitments or nowhere safe to go at such a late hour.

Keeping windows closed is actually better (leave em open overnight, but don't compromise security.

I've been suffering in the heat. Went to see The Peoples Emergency Briefing yesterday..

If your interested go see it in your area.
IF our governments irrespective of party don't act, we are pretty much screwed as a species and society..
It wasn't a film covering much I didn't know already.. But if you're in the mood, can stomach some facts, check it out in your area. Chris Packham presenting, with a few guests..1 -
My brother says climate change is a hoax, it must be true, because he has 'done his own research'. ๐
We appear to be stalled atm, the politicians unwilling to do anything beyond the next election cycle. Have you noticed the rise in 3 and 4 litre petrol cars lately, what's that all about?

Electric cars will cost a fortune to charge now it's gone up 13%
