Hi everyone, I’m looking for some support, I have some health issues that stop me from living what I have heared others say a normal life.

I don’t know what to do, I’m struggling financially and just want to work.

Does anyone know of any work from jobs there are?
thank you so much x

Hi @Daniellekent3010, welcome to the community ☺️ What kind of work would you be interested in?

Scope have some employment services that you might find useful. They can't apply to jobs for you, but they can help you work on your skills and market yourself to employers. There's some information on our website here: Employment support services | Disability charity Scope UK

We also have a jobs board: https://job-board.scope.org.uk

And a list of some other disability-friendly job boards: Finding disability-friendly employers | Disability charity Scope UK

I hope that's helpful in some way. But I'm sure our members might have some advice too, so I hope they'll say hello!

    Hi there!

The job market has changed drastically these days. You will need proof that you are eligible to work here in the UK. (Birth certificate, Benefit letters that are at least 3 months in date, a recent bank statement. Something with your address and NIN usually the Benefit letters have all of that.) As you will need this to register with an employer. Try and speak to someone at the jobcentre as they can supply you with someone who specialises in writing CV's.

Make an account with sites like Indeed.com and make sure you switch job notifications on. Check your gmail often as well as the job sites internal message system.

A lot of places now ask the same questions so when you get an idea of that, write everything down for the registry of jobs. Will save you a lot of time. Good luck!
