Halifax to Lloyds

hi all,

Halifax are switching completely to Lloyd’s but the bank account details such as account number and sort code will stay the same.

because that info is staying the same, do I not need to let the DWP know that my bank has changed name from Halifax to Lloyd’s, please?

I can’t remember if I had to tell them the bank name when I first started receiving benefits so I’m not sure if the name is actually important or not 😅
