I missed a call from DWP
Hi, yesterday I made a journal entry regarding the DWP request to provide seven years worth of statements(following my request to close my claim). I indicated that I wanted to avoid going in in person again as I've been in three time since April. I was hoping to be able to upload the statements or get one of my kids to drop them off at the Jobcentre. I also asked that they consider using the figures I'd provided through my journal entries to fix my record.
I had a missed call from DWP today and they are wanting to call back again.
Just curious as to why they are calling rather than leaving a journal entry and what kind of questions they're likely to ask. Feeling really stressed about this.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @OliverLoving, I can't be sure of what they would ask I'm afraid. It may be that they feel a phone call would be easier than journal entries and they just want to confirm how you can send your statements. Try not to worry too much. It's normal to be asked for bank statements and you are happy to provide them so there is no issue there. Did they say when they'd call back?

Thanks for your quick response. They've asked me to leave a journal entry of my availability.
To be fair I've asked them if there is a way around providing statements. I haven't refused to provide them.0 -
Oh well that's good. They won't call you when you're not expecting it then. Exactly, you are happy to provide them, you just want to discuss the best way how to. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
