To cancel your PIP claim, you must contact the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) directly. Here’s how to do it:
Steps to Cancel Your PIP Claim
- Call the PIP Enquiry Line
- Phone Number: 0800 121 4433
- This is the primary method to inform the DWP of your decision.
- Inform Them of Your Decision
- Clearly state that you wish to cancel your PIP claim.
- Follow Any Additional Instructions
- The DWP may provide further steps or confirm your cancellation during the call.
Important Considerations
- Timing: It’s best to cancel your claim as soon as you decide to ensure there are no unnecessary payments or complications.
- Confirmation: After your cancellation, you may want to request confirmation of the cancellation for your records.
Are you sure that you want to do this ?
