Hi everyone my partner received a back payment for lcwra. They wrote on our journal they they owe us this amount and would we like to be paid in full
it took my savings above 6k but i was well below 6k by the end of my assessment period.
Am I correct in thinking i only have to report the change on whichever month I’m over 6k on the last day of my assessment period?

You are correct, but backdated benefits don't count as capital for 12 months.
After 12 months, anything unspent would be included in calculation of your capital.
