"Come on, we know you're in there", said a teenage voice through my bathroom window, as I sat on the toilet. How dare I not answer the door to their repeated knocking and ringing! I can only conclude that they had run out of eggs and flour, as my rather direct retort didn't result in any mischief to my front door!
Once I hit the High Street with Gus,👨🦼🐕, I was confronted by several score of youth in fancy dress, the police were placing a number of them in three meat wagons, including a young man in a sumo suit!
There were umpteen pools of vomit to negotiate, and I rather enjoyed the ambiance of the whole spectacle.
I know this wasn't the local kids, as they have distinctive posh accents. There were many Dundee accents to be heard (like mine), obviously they had arranged to come down for some kind of a confrontation, just like we did in the 1980s.
I was quite surprised to see that the few take away premises we have here, they had employed doormen for the evening. I have never seen this sort of thing in the 11 years I have lived here. A taste of years gone by for me, lol.
Some wasted youth tried to intimate me, but I barked at him and he withdrew (just as well for me), Gus would just love bomb them if there was an altercation.
