new parent group in Hackney

Hi there, my son is 13 months and was diagnosed with cp in the weeks following his birth. I felt really alone and it was only recently when I met some other parents that I felt able to talk openly about what had happened and our my life as a different kind of parent to what I had expected.

The other mums I met had all been looking for a parents group which catered to our needs but hadn't found anything so we decided to set up our own - tough little cookies which meets every Friday at the Millfields Children Centre in Hackney from 10-12.
