My name is Marie King, I have an 8-year old boy with autism, I have had a lot of support from professionals since my son was diagnosed, but as a parent I have also learned a lot from life experiences with my child and I would love to be able to pass on advice from what I have learned from living with autism. I hope by being part of this community I can help other parents or children cope with the stress that accompanys a diagnosis of autism and share my experiences to help their child. Having someone to chat with who understands what you are going through is comforting when coping with the very complex nature of an autistic childs mind.
