Robust CD Player

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a robust portable CD player that might be suitable for my adult son who has a severe learning disability? He is fairly gentle with things, and can put the CD into the player himself. However, they seem to break so quickly!

Hi, Have you thought about the switch accessible MP3 player from Inclusive technology? http://www.inclusive.co.uk/product-list?Text=mp3
We've got one in our department and so far seems fairly robust. We also sometimes recommend the kids CD players but the quality can be a bit variable. Looking forward to seeing if anyone else has any suggestions!

Trina Inwood via Facebook suggested this tip: "He'd be better with an iPod Shuffle and a soft toy dog speaker like my daughter has. You can put the iPod in the little pocket and throw it about and it'll still play."
