I contacted ATOS to obtain the name of the lady that carried out my PIP at the end January 2017.To my surprise the person was a mental health nurse ,has no qualifications and it states, means a nurse or midwife has no additional qualifications added to their registration,Well, well ,how on earth can a Mental Health nurse carry out this type of work, beggars belief?Maybe a few other have found the same on there consultations. .

I found the same. Mine was just listed as a nurse. A nurse who knew very little about the rare conditions I have.0

My assessor wasn't even a nurse, just a paramedic. She didn't have a clue about rheumatoid arthritis itself or how it affects people with the condition. She asked me to describe typical symptoms and I could tell from the blank look on her face that I might as well be quoting from a phone book for all she understood.
