jose2 said:@jose2 - Hello Han, I was a Driving Instructor for a few years and I taught profoundly deaf, all with very good results, only suggestion I can give is to ring around or even your local Driving Examiners Centre and ask if they know of a driving instructor in your area that teaches and understands your health problems and can adapt driving lessons to suit your needs. Hope this helps
hey han, honestly the main issue here isnt driving its finding an instructor who actually understands u
i went through something similar and normal instructors just didnt adapt… every lesson felt draining instead of helpful
u should look for patient instructors or specialist schools like Shah Driving School or DEC London where they actually adjust lessons based on ur comfort and fatigue
also pls remember u can ask for slower pace or breaks anytime. good instructors wont mind at all
small tip… before booking just talk to them and explain ur situation. their response will tell u if they are right or not
once u find the right instructor things get way easier
The op was last on in June 2023, you never know! 😉
