Hello I'm new . I was made redundant last year after working for the same company for 24 years. I'm not in the best of health . I am flabbergasted at the dreadful state of the benefits system. I have a first class honours degree in law and I can't negotiate all the minefield of biased nonsensical paperwork designed quite obviously to encourage people to give up even bothering to make a claim disgusting.

Hello @jelly4toes and a very warm welcome to the community.
You are right, navigating the benefits system can be complex, confusing and
time-consuming. If you have specific questions, you may wish to post them to a benefits advisor here.
I hope that is helpful.
