How come my husband and I have to get a medical assessment for changeover from dla to pip when he is 67 and I am 66 ? When it clearly states you can only claim between ages of 16 - 64

    Hi @granjan,

In short, it's because of the age you were when PIP was introduced in April 2013.

Although nobody who was 65+ when it was introduced will be migrated, those who were under 65 at the time all remain subject to migration I'm afraid.

    Kind regards,

    Mary
