10 year old with ASD and ADHD and low self esteem

I have a 10 year old daughter who has ASD and ADHD. She struggles socially and has very low self esteem.  I find this really difficult.  I love her nonetheless.

    Hi @Sarah_Miller welcome to the community.

    Does your daughter get any support from others? It must be tough for her and it's easy to see the link between struggling socially and low self esteem. 

    Is there anything that she is really great at that you can use to praise her for, or something she could try? A new hobby? Perhaps something she can learn alone or do with others, an instrument, art, etc?

    Some really good advice so far. What area are you in? There may be a local autism support group that could help you to find social activities that your daughter might enjoy.
