I suffer with lower back pain in which I have a spinal cord stimulator for but also have a serveir form of arthritis, so I was wondering if it is worth keeping the stimulator in as that does not take away the Arthritic pain away. Am feeling really tearful and low at the moment. HELP

Hi @tinaann welcome to the community, I have moved your post to the chronic pain category where I hope others will be able to help.

Hi @tinaann how are you getting on? Do you see a specialised pain clinic?

Hi I have a Medtronic stimulator fitted for Chronic pain of the perinium. The device has had some success however it isn't as great as I hoped for. I still use my device 24x7.
Re your situation could you not go back to the pain management people to see if they could adjust the leads / level of stimulation in an effort to reduce the arthritic pain as well as your back pain? It has to be worth a shout unless you already tried this.
