Disabled Concessions not on in half term?

Hi,
I hope this is ok to post.
I am a PA for an adult with Downs Syndrome. I am having an argument with a well-known company as we were not offered any concessions when using their facilities because it was the October half term. When asked about this, they said they don't give any special offers during school holidays.
My argument is being disabled should not be classed as a special offer! Many other companies give some form of discount to those with a disability, what ever time of year.
Would anyone know if they are breaking the law by not offering a discount during certain times of the year? They do not offer any discounts to anyone during school holidays, such as for students or OAPs either.
TIA

Hi @ljudge welcome to the community, it does seem odd that a disabled persons concession would be seen as a special offer? Ill have a search and see if I can find any more info on this.

In the meantime, I have moved your post to the Carers category to see if anyone else has heard of this before.

Not heard of that before. I'd ask for them to show me their policy where it states this.

Do keep us updated on this @ljudge, you're right in thinking that it seems odd to group concessionary prices with special offers!
