Hi my name is Irene. I no exactly the same experience.. When I was refused as letter sent to me I noticed that everything was a lie.. He quoted nothing I had said.. Have you appealed the first stage.? If not phone them and explain that you want to get another decision. If that is still negative please then opt to appeal and go to tribunal. I did and I was fortunate to get it reversed. Now I found they asked alot of questions but don't let it put you off. They are thorough and listen to you.. So don't give up hope. Get someone to go with you or ask CAB or other party.. I wish you all the very best of luck and stay strong..

Hello Patricia.
Have you requested a Mandatory Reconsideration? This is the first step and it helps to send extra medical evidence. Gather as much extra evidence as you can from anyone who plays a part in your condition. eg, doctor, specialist, consultant, physiotherapist, carer, anyone else you can think of.
Then, if the M.R. fails, the DWP send you a Mandatory Reconsideration Notice letter which gives you the option to request an appeal to a tribunal hearing. I am going through this process and am awaiting a date for tribunal hearing of which i am not afraid at all because i am genuine and have lots of medical evidence that i have forwarded to them. Approximately 80% of tribunal appeals do win! I wish you all the best and pray that you will be successful at the M.R. stage.
