Well,.. For some reason that didn't post everything I wrote!
I have lots of illnesses etc which effect me with mobility, fatigue and cognitive function. When my brain works, it's pretty sharp but when it doesn't I struggle to talk.
No doubt in the future I'll divulge my long myriad list!

Hi @felix I can relate to that.
What brought you to Scope? Do you have any disabilities?
I appreciate you may have things you may not want to share on an open forum and that is fine, just a little bit about yourself. It makes it easier to interact with others if they know something about you.
If you're not ready to share yet, how about something neutral, do you have any plans for the festive season?0 -
Hi @Geoark,
Well I suppose I should say something about myself ... since I've commented on lots of posts it's only fair that I shed a little light on me
What actually brought me over here and to join, was I saw a video on Facebook of the 'what I want to say' campaign. And now you've got me, you poor poor guys!!0 -
Ok, I just wrote an entire monologue and 7/8 has disappeared! What's Whats going on tech people!? Second time in less than 12 hours! Argggh!!
I'm sorry @Geoark, I don't have the energy to write it all out again! Darn it too, as there was some spiffy jokles in there!!0 -
Hi @felix sorry seems I jumped in a bit quickly.
Sigh, I give up moaning about them letting in all the waifs and strays, but will they listen to meThey just keep letting us in.
Love your picture, we have a 2 year old tabby who I share a love hate relationship with, we love to hate each other. Though it is getting harder to convince my family of this as they say we spend way to much quality time together. Who knew being a scratching post was the same as having quality time.0 -
@Geoark a proper cat person then! You can only tell that they love you when they draw blood!
I have 2 fur babies. The fluffy one in the picture is Scamp, and I have a ginger and white girl called Tiggy. They're both about 9 now!
I thinking would enjoy being a waif.... They're quite slim as I recall!

Do you think it could be because I tend to ramble on, and my posts are generally more than afew lines? Or, just a weekend thing? Cheers!!

Hi @Sam_Scope and @steve51, many thanks for the welcome!!
I'm generally just browsing and sticking my oar in at the minute!!0 -
Hi @felix,
I dont think moderation is the issue, as this would mean your post would disappear completely.
Do you touch type? One issue many touch typists have when using laptops is that the hand can often brush the touch pad causing unwanted consequences. I use a laptop at work and at home, but use a seperate keyboard and mouse on both and have the touchpad turned off. I use a full size keyboard as the smaller keyboard on laptops cause me other issues, plus I don't like the feel on many laptop keys.0 -
Apologies for any tech issues! Anything that gets caught in the moderation queue does get seen by one of us so it shouldn't disappear entirely.0
