I'm a carer of my daughter she was on dla until she turn 16 then we had to claim pip they awarded her enhanced on pip but stopped the care part why would they do that when she was getting care on dla

Many people when changing from DLA to PIP are in the same boat. The criteria for PIP awards is different to those of DLA.

Hi maryd,
First of all you need to ask for a mandatory reconsideration, identify which of the daily living descriptors your daughter satisfies and try to provide some medical evidence to support the case. You can also ask for a copy of the assessment provider's report and see what they've said as you may disagree with some of the conclusions and you may want to point those inaccuracies out too.
