Hi, first time using this, cared full time for 5 years although 20 years plus as a carer in other fields.... Would love to hear from people who feel victimised by Social Services for doing a great job... 'Carrying the can' without recognition'

Hello @Daugjtet1and welcome to the community.

Sorry cannot discuss how it feels as I am not a carer, but do appreciate the wonderful job many voluntary carers do and the contribution they make to their communities and to our society. I have also known people who have cared for loved ones for many years only to lose their home when the caring has finished.

As an individual I stood alone.
As a member of a group I did things.
As part of a community I helped to create change!
