i am low income and have not paid because I was exhempt now I just got a bill for poll tact what can I do please?

I'd advise getting in touch with your local council, as there may have been an administrative error, or they may need more information about your exemption. You should be able to find out more about the discounts you could be entitled to, and who to contact, on the gov.uk council tax website. Hope this helps!
