Is the 2nd esa assesment the same as the first one.
Im due for one next yr but didnt know wether it will be the same as the one i had in 2015

ESA is an open ended benefit so don't be suprised if your review is defered.
PIP is not "an instead" of benefit and is awarded for different reasons than ESA

ESA is for people unable to work because of illness or disability
PIP is for people that require help with daily living or mobility
You can qualify for either or both, you can also receive a PIP award even if you work full time

I was on income related esa and my hubby got a job 2 days a week 14hrs and they stopped his money and put me on contribution based esa

There is some mythical ammount that the law says you need to live on, this is your assessed ammount and depends on individual circumstances
It might be a good idea to get f2f advice from CAB or similar
