Are you happy with the notifications you are getting?

We have had a few people speak to us about how many email notifications they are recieving from us here on the community and so we thought we'd just share a few details about these.
You are in control of how many (if any at all) notifications you get. On the edit profile screen you can do many different things, such as uploading a picture to represent yourself in the community (this can be a picture of you, but if you prefer to remain anonymous feel free to use a picture of your cat or anything else), or setting a ‘signature’ which can be used to customise every post you make.
For more information on the community, take a look at our How To Guide.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch and let us know.

Notifications
From the edit profile screen you can also change your notification preferences. This can allow you to customise your community experience to your tastes, by enabling you to choose when, and if, you want to receive emails notifying you of new posts in the community. When you’re done, be sure to click the purple ‘Save preferences’ button near the bottom of the screen. For more information on the community, take a look at our How To Guide.

As if that were not silly enough if you go to your ignore list and click on a user you are ignoring you then get to view previews or full posts of what they’ve recently posted. Exactly the sort of thing you’re trying to avoid.
We are looking into this!

You can edit your preferences for both of these on your change your notification preferences page.

If you have a few minutes to spare, we'd appreciate your feedback on our online community.
Seems friendly here, not sure how long it will last- but ok at the moment
Understand the floods of Emails. As a community champion get loads so use my common sense. As I do try to support give my time to every one. Try to give any one who contacts me an answer.
On the wall you have you can click on notifications . First icon. The purple one click on that gives you a list of who has sent you posts.
I always reply to those who have mentioned me and those who are friends who message me. Made polite comments or thank you. Just being a gentleman.
I do go around the forum and website to double check any posts I have may answered. Every one does get a reply.
If no one has ever answered any posts a member may have sent.
Used to come into my Email account I have so many could not see the other Emails I have received from other people or organisations.
Please if you wish to you can change them. What you wish to receive.
Might be worth doing what I suggested.
If you need to know anything about the forum and website please contact me happy to explain.
Please take care.
