Awwwww thank you Ami. she is so clever. Feeling guilty right now because I've not been able to take her for a walk, due to illnesses. This makes me feel so guilty. xxx0

Hi @janisanpoppy
Firstly, I am so sorry to read about your illnesses you are facing, take as much time as you need.
I am still new to this too but slowly learning new bits everyday.
Its not a chat room but many people reply as soon as they can

Bless her, I have two dogs, Max and Molly, only have pictures of Molly as Max never sits still lol
Meet Molly, my ball-obsessed, funny little princess. She too looks like butter wouldn't melt but she is a rascal too! She loves cuddles and being cradled like a baby and enjoys a lullaby or two lol!
Pets definitely make a positive impact on our lives vets, always happy to see us, can never stay mad at us too. Have you got any other pets? I have 2 Guinea pigs, Loki and Thor, very affectionate bless them

Hello @janisanpoppy
and welcome to our community. A warm welcome to Poppy too.
You were asking how the community works, so I thought I might chip in a bit:
I'm not quite as new as the lovely @Ami2301 and have been here since - I think - about November/December last year.
There are two main strands to the community, very closely related. One strand is what I would call 'professional level' advice and information, provided by trained specialists. The second is the voluntary strand, where people like me, people like yourself and Ami who have direct experience of life's issues get to talk to and share with others who have had or are having similar experiences.
So if you're having a problem with a particular benefit, for example, you can ask one of the professional support workers here and/or listen to what other members have to say about their own experience with that particular problem.
Open 24/7/365 (it seems) i don't think we can guarantee that there will always be somebody immediately on line to chat, but the more members we have on-line and chatting to each other, the quicker someone will respond.
If you reply to this post, for example, using my @RichardVR tag, a message will come to my email inbox telling me you have mentioned me.
I hope some of that helps...
You are in a 'safe space' here and among friends, you can chat, rant, ask questions, whatever, in safety, and the better we get to know you, the more easily we may find ways of helping and supporting you.
Warmest best wishes to you
Richard
