 hi I need some dental work done do I have to pay. I got full pip and esa.

    Hi @sbaird50, welcome to the community!

    I've found this information about entitlement to free NHS dental treatment, it mentions that income-related ESA could mean you're entitled. It might be worth having a look to check if any of it applies to you.

    if you don't have an IR element then you do need to pay for NHS services
    If you are on a low income the you can apply for an HC2 cert which does cover dental and other services

    hi
    If I'm not on income related (not sure if I am) how do I get on it or is it not possible.

    IR element should be on your  award letter
    IR depends on household income and savings
    Usually you will have to fill in an ESA3 financial check form

    I'm on pip and esa my wife works part time but still earns around 20,000 we have hardly any saving would it be advisable to contact esa and see if I could change my esa to income related

    I think that  your wifes income will go against you but you might get f2f advice from Cab

    Just for information, ESA income or contribution related benefits are based on your National a Insurance Contribution Records. Pleased correct me if i'am wrong.

    I was on income related ESA and was getting my dental treatment for free.. you can also apply for a HC2 form

    ESA CB is dependant on NI contributions
    ESA IR is based on houshold income and savings

    You can have either on their own or a combination
