Is my son entitled to carers allowance?

Hi. I suffer with a few things. I get E.S.A and pip. My adult son lives with me and he is on a low income. He does all the cooking and most of the housework since my husband left. Would he be entitled to a carers allowance? I feel like I'm putting a lot on him.
