My mother is 100 and has difficulty swallowing. The she chokes and coughs up her food and a lot of clear mucus. Any suggestions as to organisations in the Kent area?

Hi @gardner_crawley, and welcome to the community!
Have you seen your mum's GP about this? If not, that would be a good place to start as they may be able to refer or point you in the direction of appropriate services.
Some speech and language therapists specialise in choking and swallowing, as well as communication issues- I found this list of services and contacts in Kent which may be worth looking into, as well. Hope this helps! -
