Need help getting back into work
Options
I'm in doncaster and looking to get back into work and would like to know if there is a scope office in doncaster please. I had to give up my retail job 20mths ago after a 4th vertabrea fracture they are all now compressed, Shaw Trust is closing in a couple months and reed in partnership have said I need to be referred from the job centre before they will help. Job centre say they can't refer me because I don't get any benefits (my husband works so I don't qualify for any they said) I am looking for some guidance please as I really need to get back to work for my own sanity. Hi @hnk,
Thank you for your enquiry and welcome to the online community.
I would like to assure you there is absolutely employment support available to you.
There isn't a Scope employment office in Doncaster, however, your nearest service, Kickstart, is in Leeds.
The service offers employment workshops, work expereince, interview preparations skills as well as support to you and your employer.
For more information on the service or to register for support, you can visit the website on: https://www.scope.org.uk/support/services/employment/kickstart-Leeds
Alternatively, you may be interested in our new employment service called Support to Work.
It is a 12 week digital service which offers support to customers across England and Wales via telephone, email and or Skype.
Our employment advisers provide tailored action plans, support with CV and cover letter writing, assistance with application forms and interview practice.
If you would like more information on the service or to register for support, you can fill out an online referral form on https://www.scope.org.uk/support/services/employment/support-work?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIve7a3Yzx2QIViBgbCh2AJguqEAAYASAAEgIUBfD_BwE or you can call us on 0300 222 5742.
Kind regards,
Donisha0
