Remaining politically neutral during General Election 2024

Under guidance from the Electoral Commission and Charity Commission, it's important that Scope remains politically neutral during General Elections.

While we understand that this period will see many passionate discussions and do not want to discourage open discussion, we cannot allow discussions which are purely intended to influence voting.

As ever, please make sure that your comments remain respectful of other people's opinions and keep to our online community house rules.

Hello @MissShirley and welcome to the community. We're very glad to have you with us, but sorry to hear you are in so much pain. As I usually say to new members, you are in a safe place here and are among friends. Don't be shy of telling us anything or asking us anything, if it might in any way help us to help you.

We do have a forum/category about 'Dealing with chronic pain', here, https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/chronicpain and you might like to have a look at - and even perhaps join in - some of the discussions taking place there.

Here, listening, and hoping very much to be of help to you,
    Richard
