Hi, I won my ESA appeal last year and the court stated that I should not be tested again. I’m awaiting my PIP application and very anxious. I’m still receiving DLA which I claimed in 2006. I’m worried about the PIP taking away my car as it the only thing that helps me function in my independent life. I rely on my car for everything, medical trips mainly & everyday life. Will PIP see that I have been awarded ESA or will they ignore that decision?

Hi kimbo and welcome
PIP and ESA are separate and one shouldn't influence the other. However there are some reports that they sometimes look at the other award.
When did you get your ESA decision letter ?
The rules changed after 29th september any assessment before then will be subject to reveiw
