Thinking ahead. I am a Mum who likes to travel. Soon my son Vigo will be in a powered wheelchair. What happens when we travel abroad ? Do the Hertz/Enterprise hire companies of the world have WAVs/Vans to hire ? Or do I have to restrict us to only travelling in trains ?
Any advice ? Many thanks, Emma

Hi @gladys, hopefully some of our community members will be able to share some of their own experiences. In the meantime, it may be worth contacting Disabled Holidays: they have a good page of info on WAV hire abroad that you may like to read.0

Hi Pippa at Scope . Thanks so much for this. I see that hiring WAVs is restricted to Uk and US. Which is a bit limiting, I was sort of thinking more exotic than that....I will see what else I can find. Thanks so much, Emma0
