Hi I need help I won a court tribunal for standard care 6 weeks today , after numerous calls to pip and the tribunal they are telling me that pip still makes a decision no mater what the court say and they have yesterday sent me a letter stating my eligibility and I have to wait for that I understand pip can appeal the court decision but if they are not doing so surely they can’t over turn what the court has awarded this has been on going for 17 months and is causing me a lot of worry and has been very distressing for me

Hi jaynie and welcome
It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to put a tribunal award into payment,
If the DWP haven't appealed then your award will be what the tribunal decided, they cannot change the ammount of the award but they can change the review date.
When you receive the award letter look for the end date but more important the review date

Hi I would call the tribunal office and ask them to tell you your award. You need to ask them though or they probably won’t tell you.
i thought the DWP only had a month to ask for the tribunal discussion to be overturned.
