Hi I've been on dla for over 30 years in janunary 2018 I was sent the pip form I've not heard so dwp told me to ring capita which I did. They told me I was having a paper based decision not needing a favery to face x I have mobility and mental health issues x I'm really scared this means I'm not going to get any pip. Does anyone know anything about paper based decisions do u think it's a good thing or bad thing x thank you x rose

Hi Rosie
A warm welcome.
A paper based review, suggest the assessor has all the information to make a decision on your claim.
I would give it a week or so and contact the DWP for a copy of the assessment report. You will be able to work out, what points you have been awarded.
Hope this eases your concerns.
Best wishes

Thanks atlas 46 when I phoned capita theye said they'vearlier had my forms since 5 March that to me is really a long time when I asked she said there is no limit on the time it takes for a paper based decision what you u think0

It all depends on the caseload at Capita, I would give them a ring on Friday.
They just have a script to read from, not what is actually happening to your claim.
Keep on their case!0 -
I hope @BenefitsTrainingCo will be along to give you some advice.0
