hi I've just posted on another thread about a transport agency called easy-link door 2 door.i started using them a while ago and theve been a god send.if you are entitled too a mobility bus pass then you can apply .they pick you up at your house ,great for hospital appointments.but you can also use for social activity or shopping too .you pay a little bit towards it half or less what you would pay in a taxi .i use the Nottingham easy link but for others I would check your local council as see if they do it .thought I would share

They have wheelchair assess too .help you get on and off with seatbelt .and carry any bags if you have any .they are lovely drivers would highly recommend .they don't advertise the service much but it does exist0
