Waiting time is currently 4 weeks after the assessment and 6 weeks for a mandatory reconsideration

Depending on the case, work load in your area should get your award letter in four to six weeks but sometimes longer, but you can request a copy of your acessment which usually arrives before your award letter.

Hi, I had higher rate mobility and lowest care rate for the last twenty years. I had an interview in September about going over to PIP, I scored 6 points on one and 4 on another (so have been turned down.) It took about four weeks for the decision to come through. I have been to mandatory review and have been waiting for a tribunal date for about six/ seven months. I have now been told I need another triple fusion on my other ankle....Good luck
